New internet dish installed

Last week saw the new satellite dish installed and now we have 24 hour internet access. What a great benefit for Londua students, staff and in a short time for the local community. The solar system needs to be upgraded but is coping well at this time. Great work to all those involved. A big thank you from Londua.

97 students teeth cleaned and checked

Last week all students had their teeth checked and cleaned by our visiting dentist. They attended a Oral Health for Life workshop and now have a good understanding of teeth and how to look after them. Sugar + acid = bacteria = decay! Students were told of the importance of brushing after breakfast and before bed. The damage that alcohol and smoking can cause teeth and how to stop getting long teeth in their old age. Free tooth brushes were handed out and students have a new understanding of the importance of dental hygiene.
